Detox your scalp, strengthen the hair follicle and be left with soft, nourished hair with this long-lasting and zero-waste shampoo bar that conditions at the same time. This bar will strengthen your hair while removing built up dirt and excess oiliness.  

Extra virgin olive oil (castile) soap use in the hair and scalp provides advantages that are not found in other commonly used shampoo ingredients. Olive oil soap is high in vitamin E, an antioxidant that helps reduce the amounts of free radicals that can weaken hair and cause it to break. It also creates a protective barrier on the hair again reducing breakage, protecting against heat damage and allowing it to shine. Another component of olive oil is a high amount of oleic acid which in turn inhibits an enzyme that causes hair loss. 

Charcoal is able to give hair and scalp a deep clean without stripping away the natural oils. It is very effective at neutralising odours and absorbing scalp impurities which in turn strengthens the hair follicle. The charcoal used in our shampoo bars is from our olive branches, burnt after harvest.

Lemon is an antibacterial that helps to control dirt build-up working alongside the charcoal to strengthen the hair follicle and control greasy hair. Rosemary is perfect at stimulating hair growth, especially after the follicles have been cleaned by the lemon and charcoal as well as helping prevent premature ageing.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Wet hair and rub in shampoo bar until you reach a mild lather. Massage scalp with fingers and work lather through hair before rinsing.  One wash is usually enough to clean hair but if you would like a richer lather a second wash can be done. There is no need for conditioner- your hair should feel soft and manageable.
